We are delighted to announce that the next Who York Event will feature one of the 11th Doctor's unlikely new friends; the aggressive, but likable Commander Strax as played by Dan Starkey!!!

Who York is delighted to be able to bring Dan to New York City, thanks to Hurricane Who for what we hope will be another fun event. We'll be hosting a Q&A panel session, and there will be an autograph session (see details below) and hopefully a surprise or two - as I hope you have come to expect from our previous SOLD OUT Who York events!!!

We have room for around 40 people in total, so this will naturally be a more intimate event than most conventions you may have attended.

Entrance is $20 per person in advance. This is to cover our expenses.Food and drink at the bar is "pay as you go", and please eat and drink and tip well, to show the generous people at Stone Creek your appreciation and to thank them for their support (so we can come back!)

We are very excited to announce that the next Who York Event will feature one of the Doctor's most popular companions:

Mr. Frazer Hines!!!


Who York is delighted to welcome Frazer to New York City, to perform his one man show - "The Time Traveling Scot". There will also be a short Q&A, hosted by Ken Deep, from Doctor Who Podshock,, an autograph session (see details below) and possibly a surprise or two - as I hope you have come to expect from our previous SOLD OUT Who York events!!!

We have room for around 100 people in total, and seating will be first come first served in this small theatre. Mingling will still be possible in the lounge at the theatre, and in the auditorium itself before and after the show, making this a more intimate event than most conventions you may have attended.

Entrance is $25 per person in advance, and will be $30 on the door (cash only). This is to cover our expenses.

Alonso Allons-y! An Evening With Midshipman Frame: Russell Tovey

Come along to our 2nd who_york Event and meet the wonderful and talented Russell Tovey! Best known to Doctor Who fans as Midshipman Alonso Frame from the 2007 Christmas Episode "Voyage of the Damned", Russell is also making a name for himself in the hit BBC3 Series "Being Human" - coming soon to BBC America - where he play George and every 30 days has to deal with a hairy dilemma, all the while trying to lead a normal life!

Who York is delighted to be able to host Russell while he is in New York City. We'll be hosting a Q&A panel session, and there will be an autograph session (see details below) and hopefully a surprise or two!

Greetings and welcome to who_york, a satellite of Who York, which is an offshoot of DWNY for more formal events.

We are about to have our first one!

A Who York Evening with Louise Jameson (aka Leela)
November 3rd, 2009. 7:00pm

We'd be delighted if you could join us for an evening with Louise Jameson in New York City,
on November the 3rd, starting at 7pm and running into the late evening.

The evening will consist of panels, signings, fun and games.

As well as playing Leela with the 4th Doctor, Tom Baker, in Seasons 14 and 15 of Doctor Who,
and in several Big Finish Companion Chronicles, Louise has had a long and varied career on screen
and on stage. Other notable TV appearances include Eastenders, Tenko, and Begerac. She also
plays "Mother" in the radio version of comedian Toby Hadoke's wonderful one man show Moths
ate my Doctor Who Scarf, so there'll be lots of great stories and plenty to talk about!

We have room for around 100 people in total, so this will naturally be a more intimate event than
most conventions you may have attended.
